Geoff’s paintings evolve whilst walking, sketching and absorbing the brilliant Cornish coast and landscape.
The dramatic, ever changing weather and light, from raging storms, to Cornish mist and stunningly beautiful sunsets are Geoff’s subject matter. With its huge surf beaches, secret little bays and ancient buildings set within rolling farm and moorland,
Cornwall is a never ending source of inspiration.
Geoff uses pallet knives, brushwork and various other tools and techniques to reflect an instinctive feel for these subjects in all their moods, using colour, textures and contrasts. This approach promotes work which is expressive, lively and exciting.
